About Claudius Jarrett
An experienced orthopedic surgeon and current hand and upper extremity surgeon at the Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center, Dr. Claudius Jarrett has established himself as a dedicated and highly capable medical professional. After completing his BS in biochemistry at Xavier University and his MD at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, he went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine. Most recently, Dr. Claudius Jarrett finished a one-year fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery of the hands and upper extremities.
In addition to his work as a practicing orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Claudius Jarrett has published articles in a number of prominent biomedical journals. In 2013, he contributed to articles on subjects including optimizing recovery of rotator cuff tears, reverse shoulder arthroplasty, and the distal biceps tendon. During the final year of his residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Claudius Jarrett received the Kelly Day resident research award from the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
